Our Story

Hello there,

we are City to Cottage, and my name is Tibor, the creator, owner and founder of the company. We make playful ceramics in carefully curated colours so you can find the perfect cup, mug or dinnerware - and so much more - to decorate your home! Established and designed in London, England, I would like to share my love of pottery with you and invite you to have a browse around the site. We ship to many countries, and we are always in the process of expanding this business, whilst staying sustainable and mindful.

We started making ceramics years and years ago. Every single piece we sell is individually HANDMADE and HAND-PAINTED by caring hands to ensure a high quality and luxurious dining experience with your family and friends.

The signature City to Cottage style is a mix of vintage inspired and playful yet elegant and subtle. All of our designs use sustainably sourced clay, food safe paint, and high quality, extremely detailed handwork. We also enjoy using the signature dots to create tableware with a mid century, rockabilly feel.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us. We carefully wrap and package each item to make it gift-ready, and send it to you usually within 2 working days. We offer a no-quibble returns policy. And, as long as it's daytime here in the UK, we will answer messages quickly :)

Our aim is to make beautiful original homeware for every mood. Our products are also MICROWAVE and DISHWASHER SAFE meaning less time cleaning in the kitchen and more time relaxing and having fun.

Our ECO-FRIENDLY products and contributing towards sustainable living – our homeware range is environmentally friendly, as we use solar panels to heat the kiln.
